PRODUCT AND RETURN POLICY
Effective as of May 1, 2024
This Product and Return Policy applies to all goods sold on or by The Perfect Jean, LLC (“TPJ”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through its website, theperfectjean.nyc (the “Website”).
ORDERS
Products ordered through the Website are subject to acceptance by TPJ in its sole discretion. TPJ may refuse to accept or may cancel any product order, whether or not confirmed, for any or no reason, in its sole discretion, and without liability to the purchaser or any third party. If a purchaser’s credit card has been charged for an order that is subsequently canceled by TPJ, TPJ shall issue a credit to your credit card account.
TPJ reserves the right to vary or terminate the operation of any promotional discount at any time without notice.
If you have any questions about a promotional discount, or believe a promotional discount may have been incorrectly applied, please email help@theperfectjean.nyc and we will do our best to explain or rectify.
PRICES
All prices posted on the Website are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be set out in your order confirmation email. Price increases will only apply to orders placed after such changes. Posted prices do not include taxes or charges for shipping and handling. All such taxes and charges will be added to your purchase. We are not responsible for pricing, typographical, or other errors in any offer by us and we reserve the right to cancel any orders arising from such errors.
Returns

We offer returns and exchanges within 30 days your order is marked delivered by the carrier. In certain circumstances at TPJ’s discretion, we may extend the return/exchange window if you email help@theperfectjean.nyc (a kind word to our amazing and hard working customer service team goes a long way!).
For merchandise returned within 30 days of the delivery date, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment at the original selling price. To be eligible for a return you must have paid for your order and have no open chargebacks or payment disputes. Gift cards, if available, are not eligible for returns.Once your return is received and inspected (typically in 1-3 business of receipt, but occasionally longer), we will send you an email to notify you that we have received and processed your returned item. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, typically within 3 to 7 business days (timing is at the discretion of payment and card issuers and may take 14 days or more).
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you received a refund approval from us, but haven’t received a refund yet, first check with your bank. Then contact your bank, debit/credit card company, or other payment provider. In certain situations it can take 14 days or even longer before your refund is officially posted to your bank or debit/credit card provider.
We will grant up to two free exchange for an equivalently priced product for each item purchased. To be eligible for an exchange the item must meet the return criteria listed above (ie, including, but not limited to, unworn, unwashed, and have tags attached). Items being exchanged must be returned following the above return policy.
All exchanges will be mailed with a shipping carrier and method/speed at The Perfect Jean, LLC's discretion. Unless otherwise noted, outbound exchanges will be mailed after receipt and inspection of the original item at our warehouse. If you select an “Instant Exchange”, you will enter your credit card information and we will authorize your card for the cost of the original order until your return is scanned into the mail to be returned. Once your return is scanned into the mail, the authorization hold will be released from your credit card. The card would only be charged if the return is not dropped into the mail within 30 days or the product return does not match what was indicated in our online return portal.
Return and Exchange Shipping
We will supply you with a pre-paid return mailing label for all returns and exchanges. You must use a TPJ generated label for your return or exchange to be processed. These labels are typically free if your order is within the Continental United States. Other states, territories, or countries are not eligible for free return shipping and your return shipping cost will be based on your location. TPJ will select the shipping carrier and speed at its discretion.
Exclusions
Any item may be marked final sale on it's product page. If an item is marked final sale that supersedes the above policy and the item may not be returned or exchanged unless approved by customer service.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you at the address the item was originally shipped to.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they may find out about your return.
Order Shipping
Please review our FAQ for our current shipping destinations. Ultimately, only orders that pass through Shopify’s Checkout with valid payment capture are eligible to be shipped.
WARRANTY
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
