This is the third pair of these shorts I've bought; they're super comfortable and have enough elastic that I'm not constantly pulling them up. One thing I discovered after the first pair is if in doubt, size down. I bought 2X with the first pair (I'm 6'4", 270) and while I still wear them sometimes, I swim in them. The XL was the perfect size.
Makes me want to throw away the rest of my shorts.
