Firstly, let me say that I love the branding for these! Funny, lots of puns, gets the point across.
The jeans are ok, they do stretch pretty well, but just not as much as I expected. They areWAY more stiff than I anticipated they would be. These are like blue jeans stiff on my legs until I need to stretch. They also seem to slip down when I bend or sit down.
I have owned several pairs of jeans that are supposed to be stretchy and were not only stretchy, but soft as well. More comfortable, softer options would be nice. Also, I don’t care for the fact that the sizing is weird. I don’t think you should have to tell people to size down a size for your product. Just make the size match the product. If it’s suggested to size down from a 32 to a 30, just mark the jeans as a 30. No need to add extra steps. Having said that, I do appreciate being told to size down because my normal size would have definitely been too big.
Lastly, I know it sounds like I’m being extra critical, and that I don’t like the product. Quite the contrary. I still like the jeans I bought, but just not as much as I was anticipating for how they were advertised.
I like my jeans a bit loose and ordered 5 pair of the OG Stretch Jean in Thick Thicc. I wear them to work and around the farm. The fabric is light and stretchiness is fantastic. The "bind" that can occur when bending, squaring or crouching in normal jeans is non-existent. They are truly "all day" comfortable.
I rotate the 5 pair regularly and they've all held up well except on pair that developed a hole surprisingly quickly due to a light snag in the woods.
In a "perfect" world, the belt loops would be a bit taller to accommodate a 1.75" belt (and there would be 2 more at the 5 & 7 o'clock position), the front pockets would be deeper and the leg opening would be a bit wider.
But so far, these have been as close to perfect as it gets.
Yes…that’s what she said. ;D Seriously though, the jeans’ material were thicker and better quality than I expected for a very soft, comfortable and stretchy pair of jeans. I am 6‘1“ 220 lbs and wear a 36” waist by 34” length in Levi’s 505. I took the advice of other reviews and ordered slightly down in the waist…35” waist (still 34” length), and they are perfect. I will be ordering more. The deep blue submarine boot cut are the perfect color to go with my square toe boots and blue corduroy sportcoat. Great product! Thank you!

I’m a big guy (6’8 and 275) and I lift a lot. Finding jeans is the worst. Too tight in the wrong places. Constricting. Not long enough. All of those things are in the past now that I’ve found TPJ! Pants that look so good you can dress them up and so flexible you could workout in them. I’m a forever fan of the brand!

The neck is too big and the material a little thin. But, in all fairness I’ve always worn heavy weight cotton Tee’s.
