From the get-go let me acknowledge that I'm a Boomer, born and bred and proud of it. In my heyday, it was Levis 505 red tag jeans . . . 'cause the only real alternatives were Wrangler (too damn western-centered for me, reeked of manure) and Lee (they never seemed to fit me right). Given a few extra pounds around the middle in my later years, Levis left me high and dry (and were nowhere near the quality of Levis I got from them in my youth)‑‑-so I'd nearly given up on finding a pair of good-looking jeans that FIT ME RIGHT, were comfortable, and wouldn't break the bank. Enter "the perfect jean," found serendipitously online, and my go-to bootcut, joker, light indigos. Love 'em. Just love 'em. So much so, I've lost count of additional pairs plus other styles and colors I've since purchased‑‑-all terrific. Even snagged a couple of pairs of Denkhakis that I wear out when jeans won't cut it. Cannot go wrong with tpj. Period. Full stop.
